I just checked my service records, car had 50k miles back in 2005. So I guess I don't drive it much, but my 99 Ford Explorer has 160,000 miles.

Lucky for me that the only thing that was damaged was the foam/mat that is part under the hood chewed off.

May I ask why not use copper tubing?

I believe the new GE ref that we ordered comes with a filter. That is replacable every 6 months.
