The multi-function keys on the wheel work fine on the 2004. I see no reason why they wouldn't on a 99 but as they say 'your actual results may vary'.

I use it on wiper arms, B pillars and bumper inserts as well as mirrors. Might try some of the other products mentioned but they aren't readily available at local auto parts store (lazy).
