I think the strut need to be rotated counter clockwise to get the clearance you need. Should be a simple fix.

You are right, but the bulbs that came with the depo's were terrrible. The 5000k wouldn't be as bright as the 4300k, but the morimoto bulbs were much higher quality than the previous bulbs I had.
