I had the same issue. Tried the same things you did. Then bought a heat gun, it was off in 5 minutes after that. Hth.

Considering a 325xi Touring 5speed!

I'm at 173k miles on my XI wagon. I've done all the work except an axle. Love the wagon and great in the snow especially with snow tires.. Still drives as good as new... Since all the PM work..,

I did my refresh last year. Before I was running up to 103-5 with the AC in slow traffic. After the refresh usually 92-98.

So you basically paid $3500 to drive it 23,000 miles. That is about 15 cents a mile, not bad when you consider the cost of leasing or buying a new car.

I bought reman'd front calipers from Pep Boys....

I bought reman'd front calipers from Pep Boys. Had a coupon and ended up costing about $35. They have the BMW stamp on them. The outside tend to rust faster so may end up painting, but otherwise work...
