Whats option 3 "bmw balljoint"?

You don't need a lift to replace a control arm BTW. You just need to jack the car enough to get the wheel off.

If the FCABs are bad the other 2 joints are probably bad as well. I'd get new control arms, control arm bushings...

Just pull the AWD fuse in your glovebox. Note: only automatics have this fuse.

The hex bolts are long and one blocked by the control arm. You're going to have to loosen something to get it out. The FCAB bracket is easier I'd say.

You'll need a 18mm wrench for the hexbolts...

Try this. Take a wrench and smack the fuel tank underneath the passengers side where the pump is. A few good hits. Then see if it'll start.
