Oh it did, so long as you had the clutch in and ripped it up hard (on dirt, no chance on a proper surface), standard practice in that car was line up a corner, clutch in, yank the handbrake, attempt...

Prepare to end up with some broken brittle plastic clips, be patient, don't do it in the hot sun, big hands are irritating and be careful with the speaker baskets, in my car they were so brittle that...
