Absolutely normal for a temporary fix. I had my window taped to the frame for a week or so. I like to shop around for parts online and sometimes it takes up to a week to get the part.

Had the same think. The fuel pump gasket was installed incorrectly. My fault, was working in limited light conditions and did not notice the mistake.
