Are these off a coupe or a sedan? Also, are they up to 01 or 02+? Up to 01 are push in style and 02+ are screw in style. Unfortunately they wont work if the styles are mixed up.

It sounds like a vacuum leak (air getting in where it shouldn't be). Maybe an injector isn't fully seated or a pinched O-ring. Regardless, have the codes checked and make sure they reset adaptations.
