Another gross generalization.
I've owned several BMWs for more than 10 years and I've dipped several items successfully, including my winter wheels.

Agree to an extent. However, I'm sure many of us can afford an F30 or F10, which is decidedly more expensive than our lowly E46s. I just wouldn't want one. Heck, I'm pretty sure the N55 and N20...

I like it except for the 'srs airbag' in contrasting color. It kind of takes me back to the late '80s when that stuff was high tech and displayed prominently.

Lol.
More modern is a car that was introduced 9 years ago? Other than the power from the N54/55 engines, there is nothing more desirable about the E9X.

OP: Wheels look nice; interior pieces look a little plastic-y. I would have gone with vinyl wrap. I did mine on my old ci and it looked amazing and it wasn't too expensive.

You are the reason I go out of my way to be the MOST courteous whenever I drive my 10-year-old BMW. What a douche thing to say.

Also, I'd love me some Coyote Mustang ... because I'm not a douche.

Buy the E36 and keep the 328.
I had a '99 M3 and it wasn't any faster than my current car, and it wasn't nearly as comfortable as a daily driver.

I've had 2 E36s, including and M3, and 2 E46s. Two were totaled due to flooding, and one was t-boned. My current car just had $3k worth of work done to fix its rear end after being hit.

E46 M3s and E9x M3s both had 18 inch wheels as well as 19s.

OP: find a set of 135s. I think the tire sizes are the same as the E46 M3.

I dunno. I kinda dig the cloth seats. If I were you I'd wrap the trim in 3M vinyl, grab some new floor mats and pick up an M3 steering wheel and call it a day.

M3 is not a race car.

A set of clean style 68s would probably transform your car, and to a lesser extent, maybe some 135s ... if you absolutely have to have 18s.

I'd stay away from 19s though.
