before I got my 330 i put a new clutch on my 323 and
neglected to replaced the flywheel and all the springs
in it shattered...

I would think the change would possibly be for multiple reasons.
One being the fact that essentially all the new motors are FI
Another being the switch over to direct injection with the N motors...
