320 engine misfire problem

Ive noticed that I have a slight hesitation (holds back) at around 2k this only happens under load (while driving) can anyone give me an idea of what might cause this ? thanks in advance

The plastic bit in the ski hole is removable which enables you to pass your ski's through but im not sure if its removed via the trunk or from the passenger area but worse ways you could kick it...
