Crank but no start for sale..

So I am giving up on my 99 323i manual e46....

I no longer have the time nor desire to keep chasing it's issue, which is crank but no start. In short I am told by my local and very trusted shop...

I was searching for a crank sensor online this weekend and ran across some info when changing that sensor, I found an update to change the wiring harness for voltage need...

I did clear them, twice now and that code comes up each time, Also got some misfire codes or cylinders 1, 3, 4, and 6 after the second clearing.

Seems like I'll be coughing up a few extra bucks...

I was careful with reading it which is moot in this case as no "6" or "b" were part of the codes.

I was not the one to replace the crack sensor, a friend of some family...

I have done it both ways and for my 2 cents buying a remaned as it is a huge PITA to rebuild, also buying from AZ or the like, you get a life time warranty to if it fails again you get to get another...

@ socal... It is not as tight as the OEM rad I replaced, but it sits just fine... The top bracket hangs well and I did not have to "fabricate" it like others have. The lower screws lines up well...

I wound up getting a Nessen that is working...

I wound up getting a Nessen that is working great. They make two different plugs that come with it for either manual or auto transmission. So for what it's worth I recommend it.

Thanks for the vid and explanation!!!! I have been going crazy trying to get mine done, though I have a manual so having an issue with coolant leaking form that hole.
