well it doesnt apply to the e46, but e90 cars have the window switches on the doors, which is actually a pet peeve of mine. i think the center mounted window switches were a defining feature of BMWs...

the resonator closest to the engine will make it noticeably louder if you delete it. you shouldnt have problems with backpressure, as all resonators are doing is canceling sound with sound

its just a complicated mechanism, thats all. take the front of the marker (thats closest to the headlights) and push it back, that releases the clip from the fender and you can pull it out
