Neither of my 330i's have had SAP's, including this one. I'm presuming the valve can't be stuck...

It had a new fuel filter (and incorporated FPR)...

I think you're thinking if the oil level sensor in the sump? If it's faulty the yellow oil light comes on.

But it's the oil pressure switch I'm talking about, which brings on a red light when oil...

I think it's as I've described above - the oil pressure switch isn't registering the lack...
