The DSC module had failed, its a very costly repair, 1500 euro + Taxs for the part + labour, also the module requires BMW coding after its fitted.

head gasket failure.

The chocolate colour gunk is coolant in your oil, the white smoke is coolant leaking into the cylinders and being combusted, the white gunk on your oil cap is coolant residue....

I was pretty mangled for a few months broke a few bones etc but BMW's are pretty tough in a crash!
