that sound doesn't sound like pads. You were right its not rust. If it goes away after you use them though it has to be something between the pad and the rotor surface. Good luck with this.

your video won't work, but I'm willing to bet its rust and corrosion on the bare surface of the rotor. Its nothing to be concerned about. As soon as you apply the brakes, they clean themselves off....
