Its the actuator. I just replaced one 2 weeks ago for the same issue. It is a bit of a pain to do on a 2 door. Do some searching as there are many guides on how to do it.

Use 2 step epoxy. I've done it a few times. Apply it and use a towel folded over and close the door on it to hold it in place. Leave it for a day to dry and viola.
