I was at redline in 3rd gear, went to shift to 4th, but grabbed 2nd instead. It's called a money shift cause its really expensive to fix. Cost me almost 10k for a new motor... Wont make that mistake...

What is it Worth?

I money shifted the motor in my old '04 325 and blew the top end of the motor. I had the motor replaced, and kept the blown motor. The block and crank are fine, but the head and pistons are shot.

2004 M54B25 Motor For Sale

I money shifted the motor in my old '04 325ci :bawling:. It had ~36,000 miles on it. The block and the bottom end are fine. The timing chain slipped and a couple valves smacked pistons. :banghead:...
