I had recently pulled the odst and looked thru it and then blew thru it and concluded it was clean. Replaced the CCV as well.
Was this enough or is there more to cleaning these tubes?

At 204,000 miles I just replaced my OEM shocks with BILSTEIN shocks/struts and the oem's were completely empty of fluid. Seems to stick like glue now. Also, replaced the OEM ccv.....it was crusty....

I added a bike rack to mine and noticed about a 5 mpg less condition....with the bike on.
Needless to say I removed the rack for a day to day driving mode.

Actually, all my connectors are clean. I think the connectors get "bumped" while working on other things and this helps to loosen them. Vibrations, temperature change and age plays a part in all this...

Mine was leaking, small leak, so I cleaned the area with alcohol, dried it off and then applied some black ATV silicone all over that area. NO MORE LEAKS.
