For E90 you should go with a lower offset, +25 in the rear at least. These cars look best when "stanced" a bit, if you don't mind doing some fender roll to give flush or slight poke looks best IMO. ...

BMW should just do a recall on those turbos, either way as others have said you have extended warranty on them up to 80K miles so get them replaced for free asap!

You have M3 so I would do nothing less than 11's...

You have M3 so I would do nothing less than 11's in the rear, look into Varrstoen's. For a nice clean aggressive setup you need a wide wheel, run 275s for a little stretch and spacers to push it out...
