What's the symptom of a a power steering pump going bad ?

When parked, I can hear a noise when turning the wheel. I don't think I heard that before.

How often do you change the fuel filter ?

Hi. My 2002 330i has 90,000 miles on it now. I know the fuel filter was replaced once by the previous owner, maybe around 50,000 miles.

Fault Code 19 12 Cam shaft pos sensor, pls help

Hi. i just changed the gasket in the oil filter housing, and now I get fault code 19 and then 12 (after pressing "Go" again on the Peak tool), so I guess that's the exhaust cam shaft position...

What spring compressor do folks use to remove stock springs?

the ones I got from Sears don't quite work well enough. Has anyone found a particular set of spring compressor that works well with the stock suspension? Other than the BMW special tool.

Hi. I just changed out my front struts with new stock ones.

I re-used the springs.

I was thrown off by the fact that there didn't seem to be an obvious place to line up the end of the bottom...

Thx. That adapter looks usefull. But the fuse box (AFAIK) is in the glovebox on the passenger side. I'm looking for a switched 12 volt source near the driver's side.
