It's your Oil Filter Housing Gasket (OFHG) not the VCG. The VCG normally leaks on the passenger side near the firewall. There are several DIYs on this website about OFHG replacement.

Upper\Lower Radiator hose
Water pump
Expansion Tank
Radiator

You may need to pressure test the coolant system...
