String words, but I agree. Regardless of the age of these cars, they are still European Luxury cars. They cost more to maintain now than they did brand new. So if you cannot afford to buy a $30K+...

Was warped on the edges. Very noticeable when passing the lines on the road. Looked like I was about to go through a time warp. Common with SGC though.

Second New Windshield

Safelite came back today and replaced the defective SGC with a Pilkington. We'll see how this one looks when I hit the road.

They can get Pilkington, I asked them to get one and they did. It'll be installed friday. They do also stock Sekurit at their warehouse. There is a Pilkington warehouse in Kent, Wa. not too far...

Yup, its SGC. Noticed today that it looks like a magnifying glass on the bottom edges. On the phone now to get it replaced with a Pilkington. Yippee......:clap:

SafeLite came by today to replace my windshield. Dunno who the manufacturer is but we will see what happens with the quality. No issues this far. :thumbsup:

Lighter Socket

Installed a new 12v Lighter Socket under my arm rest. E46 323i. Easy install and very worth it. $5 later and now I can have my ash tray area back......
