For what it's worth, I've wired an APEX-I to the ECUs in the past and never had problems, mind you that was on a Honda/Acura and Toyota.

We replaced the water pump, water pump pulley, thermostat and bled the system. The car is no longer going in limp mode. However the new code is pointing to the gas pedal sensor....

The thermostat and water pump are getting replaced today as well as another coolant flush and I'll have the car back tomorrow. I'll let you guys know if that solves the problem.
