For anyone following this- I replaced the intake camshaft solenoid that regulates vanos oil supply/control. That cleared up the problem. The car drives with more low end torque as well now....

Only code showing in the scanner is p0339. But inpa shows 244 and 18.

For anyone still subscribed or interested the bouncing idle got better but never went away. I ended up getting INPA, what an eye opener. Anyone with a laptop and $20 has no excuse not to have it....
