my 325i was built in 03/2001 and I use the OBDII under the dash, so I'm not positive on the 09/2001 date. Maybe 09/2000? I think that was when the new engines went series.

Yep! Thanks. Mine was also directly behind the wire harness with another layer of insulation over it. Replaced that. Cleaning the contacts on the yaw sensor right now.
