I just installed the TSE3 today and also have a K&N - one question, do you find it resonates quite loud throughout the car at about 2500rpm?

I am having the exact same issue.. the driver side door vent, and left side of the center vent are cold... the right side of the center vent and passenger vent are warm.

Talking to my dealer today.

If I use the EAS speaker adapter plates and a standard coaxial speaker for the rear (6.5") will I be able to get the rear speaker grill...

The offsets on the stock Z4 wheels (MY03-05) are 18x8 ET47, and 18x8.5 ET50 which are inline with the sytle 135M wheels on ZHPs so they will fit. Now do I want spacers or not?

You don't want to change the overall rolling diameter too much otherwise your speedo/handling will be off with the car.

The tire sizes you mentioned are the the standard sizes for the 3-series...

I'll trade you chrome for black.. the top part snaps out easily, its the door sills that could be a bit of a pain. I've read with a heat gun/hair dryer they come out much easier.

My driver side connector literally melted the plastic that keeps the ground and power wires separate - and had to rig up something quick for a long drive so just used an alligator clip...

I had the same problem - I disconnected part of the climate control while hte key was in accessory and it so happened that my FSR went out - car was under warranty and I was replacing the stock deck...

My (canadian car) 330i has the basic 6 speaker setup with no amp in the trunk - all speakers are driven from the HU and the tweeters in the front door were connected directly to the door speaker...
