What are these units out of? The GPS drive looks like the older MKIII (CD based). An MKIV unit uses DVDs. Also, what's behind the screen, tape or CD player? -thanks

Received the unit, however, it is NOT compatible with OEM Nav equipped e46 and e53 (X5). Anyone want this for their NON Nav car? Just looking for what I paid $250 and shipping.

Yes Billy, It will fit a 2004 325. You'll need the clock spring that has the two pins in the 3rd plug socket on it that allows the plug from the paddles (two pins) to pass through the clock spring....

Yes, it's a straight bolt on. You will, however, need a round airbag as the wheel doesn't come with one and your current airbag (from the square wheel) won't fit the new wheel.
