Is there any reason I can't go with standard blank rotors (with no holes) on the rear?

I was thinking since the rears are not floating rotors technically, I'd
rather have the advantage of more...

any dual sport bike riders

I really want a dirt bike but figured dual sport was a smarter choice:

dont want to trailer it which dirt only would require. Plus it might be nice to have some street ability so I can head down...
