mine is doing the same thing, if i'm in drive, it'll drive fine until 2nd gear, in which it 50% of the time it'll throw the ! in a gear and put the tranny into like 4th...

with these kits, you dont need an intercooler. and no, not all turbos are off the exhaust manifold, as there are remote setups, this is what the question was about!
