That sounds like alot of work. Inside the belt holster nested is all you need for driving carry. It keeps it in place, its readily available, and the seatbelt is not in the way like when on my hip...

Using this same method I clock 23mpg city 25 regular hwy. I took the tollway out of Austin back to San Antonio cruised about 90ish and clocked 26mpg.
