If the power steering pump should fail prior to me changing it out, will it mess anything up w/ the belts or other mechanical components? Or will it just hinder my ability to steer w/ ease?

Thanks for the reply. I actually decided to purchase a rebuilt "OEM" caliper w/ plans to install tommorrow after the Superbowl. I am currently reading up on the bleeding portion as we speak....
