Thats a part of oe control arm bushes. Its used to limit the movement. You can easily keep driving the car as is . It doesnt really do much.

Depending on your mileage you should change the bushes...

I just came across the new Castrol thats LL-01 approved. Ive never seen 0w40 castrol before . Says made in Belgium. I wonder how much different it is to other Castrol LL-01 approved oils such as 0w30...
