I just received in the mail, a class action suit against BMW NA that originated in CA. It's directly related to to the subframe of 1999 to 2006 3 series. It states BMW is responsible for damages...

Thanks Vanos, I'll check and charge it this weekend. My 325ci is a 2001 and still on the original battery so I'm guessing this is the issue.

That helps me to eliminate the gas-cap. The service engine light came back on later that evening. I'm leaning towards thinking it's a coolant sensor issue! Does anyone have instructions...
