honestly, when i had the base tune, the booster still helped. it's really not the same thing, the booster gives you quicker response, even with the tune.

just my .02 cents

fyi... not too sure on the technicals, but dinan does the same with the forced shifting in manual mode. as far as i can tell, they both do the same things. i've had the dinan for a couple years now.

just getting the valve bodies alone will not make the tranny bulletproof. that's why they offer the complete overhaul. they cryo all the parts, so everything lasts... i don't think you'll be able...

your axles will be just fine... that's one part you shouldn't have to worry about at all. you might want to run a compression test on your engine first, since it has a lot miles on it.

if you have a steptronic, i suggest a stage 1... if you want any more power than that, you might want to think about reinforcing your tranny. an uprated torque converter and upgraded valve bodies...
