Make sure you use ONLY good quality microfiber cloths........I have an '05
IB ZCP.......and yes.......it shows swirls. But the mf cloths and quality
waxes help.

Engine compartment void space

In a stock M3 (05) there is a large empty space in the engine
compartment just forward of the front passenger location.

There are a couple of mounting tabs on the firewall at that location.........

I think that probably is a good idea........just leave a thin layer of
snow on the surfaces.........and let it melt. I will be sure to use
multiple layers of glaze material too....
