I don't remember whether I have an ms45 or ms45.1, but I am 100% sure I do not have ms43 dme.

2004 330 non zhp's did not come with ms43.

You're oil consumption using recommended oil might have a lot to do with your problems. Tolerances might be out of spec or you have another issue causing oil...

Your shaking is more than likely from worn balljoints in the control arm. Fix is to remove and replace control arms with new ones...

I had a failure of the body of the hydraulic tensioner, which ended up taking out the oil filter housing which it is where it is mounted.

IIRC, tensioner went out when the car had ~60k miles....

Leaking fluid around the ball joint means it is compromised....
