The car did not start, they just communicated...

The car did not start, they just communicated with the DME to test for functionalility. BTW, after reading through this thread, my heart goes out for a kind intention.. Good luck.

I had a similiar problem, cause was a warped...

I had a similiar problem, cause was a warped pulley. But in your case, i think the pullies caused the belt to be too long ans hence there is not enough tension in the serpentine belt.
