It's a pretty easy fix since it is just the switch unit. When you hit the button hard enough the internals of the switch tend to break apart and no longer function properly.

Nope, he is talking about the rear spring pads that go on the top and bottom of the rear spring. I also heard somewhere that you can stack them in pairs to get even more clearance.
