it is absolutely needed. the interface out of the alpine is incompatible with the bmw m-bus interface. at 10-15 bucks its cheap anyway.

i was reading on the uuc website that the tranny mount can reduce cabin vibration and increase shift precision? is this change really perceptible or is it one of those mental improvements?
