I've got the Koni FSD kit and honestly I wouldn't even consider any other option. Perfect balance between sport and comfort. I've put about 3k miles on mine so far and no issues at all.

They are definitely more reliable since the SMG was replaced with DCT however the engines share the same rod bearings therefore they have the same problem. Just watch the market, once the M3s start...

BTW the E60 M5 does not have the common V8 valley pan seal problem. Actually the cooling system on the M5 is extremely reliable aside from oil coolers having leaks.

I'm running Turners stainless lines and I've been pretty happy with them. IMHO there's no reason to go with OEM considering the cost and reliability vs stainless braided lines.
