I use the M1 15W50 in my S50 at the track because it would tick like crazy running 5w40. It works great at the track and is a great deal since it is available in 5 quart jugs for about $30.

you have to run/splice about 4 wires to get it to run but it will trigger a CEL, you then have t get the DME/EGS computer reprogrammed. My shop with an autologic charged 2 hours of labor to do it.

have you checked your block to make sure its not going to just pull the threads out when you try to torque the head down? The aluminum blocks do not fare to well after being overheated.

General consensus is to only buy genuine BMW electronics/sensors unless you really enjoy replacing them. The aftermarket sensors tend to be subpar.

e92 M3 mounts for the engine and stock or the rogue rubber mounts for the tranny are going to be fairly long lasting and wont vibrate you to death. I've seen way to many poly mounts fail to want them...

97 and 06 are more endurance pads while the 01 has the most bite of the PFC lineup, 01 seems to be used in competition more while the 06 makes an awesome DE pad, only slightly less torque than the 01...

as long as you have your tech from signed, I don't think anyone will care. Mine is always on in my e36, but it also has race seats, a roll bar and 6-point harnesses so an airbag is kind of moot.
