The Good. Got back my bimmer today and took it out for a drive. Smooth as a purring kitten. Seems to head gasket was the problem.

Spoke with the service rep today. He claims they finally identified the problem to the rough starts as being a bad head gasket and not a cracked #1 cylinder. Will pick it up tomorrow, hopefully. ...
