Parts + labour are much less expensive, dont know for US, but here in Croatia i paid 1000 $

IMO BMW 335 is too classy for BOV. The blow off valve is more for "hardcore" rally cars like cosworth, evo, impreza. I had a bov on my escort rs cosworth and it is great for that car but not for BMW...

To m2rvh: If your car consume 1 lit/400 miles switch from 0-30 to 5-40 imo wont reduce the consumption in the range of tolerances. Usuallly M54 engines with less than 170k miles have good compresion...
