Those mfr's (manufacturers) probably don't know; but I do believe that the oil pressure is higher under part throttle than sitting idling in the driveway, so the moving car is getting better oil...

Seafoam is fine in the gas tank too; likewise you can use techron as an intake cleaner if you wish.

This stuff was all more relevant back in the 80's...
