The bottom two pictures are from my non-m. As you can see, it sticks out about an inch. So with rolled and slighty pulled fenders and some negative camber, they might. I'm not sure though.

ET is the same as offset. High means in, low...

Take your belts off the pulleys and start the car. If the noise stops, it's one of the pulleys. Most likely your idler and tensioner. Remember, start off easy and work your way up.
