Right. I'd say Victos are probably 1/2 to almost a second behind. But for a newer autoxer with stock set up they might be the ticket depending on the budget. Victos are certainly more rewarding to...

Victos would be significantly quicker and more fun for autox duty than the Yokos. You can drive the Victos 10-15 miles to events no problem...people even drive farther and/or just leave them on a...

Thumbs Up Wider is generally better....

as mentioned 235/40 is a nice size...particularly for gearing. But with 8 inch rims you can easily run 245/40 even 255/40 (the latter size commonly run for Kumho Victoracers). If you talk to...

Yeah, you know on an autox course it was fairly unusual to even think about 3rd gear in the 330...so 'shorter' gearing might work out well...and it sure would be nice to have more 'pull' out of...

Arrow Wish I could trade DSC for a limited slip!

Don't get me wrong. For the 'average' BMW driver the DCS is a fairly transparent safety system that covers for many driving mistakes. You can hightail it a bit into a tight corner, and with no muss...

Thumbs Up Yes they will fit

Autocrossers routinely run 255/40x17 Kumho Victoracers and
245/40x17 Hoosiers (which run almost as big as the Victos)
on stock M68 staggered set-up with no problems at all.

Azenis are a good choice. On a 330ci last year the winning car at Nationals ran on 255/40x17 Victoracers...so the 245's will fit. Also, if you have not found it, the tirerack site and/or...
