Yep - Just finished the job. Checked the voltage again. Engine off I'm at 131 (they charged the battery when they checked it). Engine on I'm at 143. Seems like the old one may have been working...

Thanks. Made it home from work - was a tense ride. I turned everything off. No air con or radio. I unplugged the iPod (cause it would have been charging) tried not to use turn signals or brakes...

Thanks for the advice. So with the numbers reading "125" with the car off and "121" with the car on, that would indicate that the power level is lower when the car is running - therefore the issue...
