its an offset of 30. 255 or wider probably wont fit too well. Outer fender clearance is the issue - not inner clearance. Spacers would only exacerbate the issue.

Quick Help, Will these wheels fit?

Front will fit. Rear needs a higher offset with that width. Shoot for a 45 offset on 9.5"

I mounted only the rear wheels (17 x 8.5" et39). Wrapped them in 255/40-17 Nitto Motivo tires. They rubbed slightly on hard cornering maneuvers and off-center driveway entrances....

I wouldn't stray from well-known suspension systems but ... Wow! That's crazy inexpensive

I think this may be it! Sold through schmeidmann - reputable parts distributor out of Denmark, if I'm not mistaken. They advertise in Roundel. The lip is labeled the CSR...

Those style 188's are gorgeous!! They would look great on an e46. These wheels are staggered (8"F, 8.5"R) with 34mm, as you stated, and a 37mm offset at rear. The stock tires are probably 225-45 (F)...
