It's a royal PITA, but cheaper than a new tranny. I can't believe it is a mechanical problem b/c it drives fine in all the forward gears. Software maybe?

My car did that and I ignored it. Made sure I could pull through parking spaces nose out. After 3 months, it started working again and other than one occurance, hasn't given me any trouble in 6-8...
